Microsoft Excel

Kalmar Software Development staff have been designing, developing and supporting customised Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for over 20 years. The reason for this is that Microsoft Excel is just so powerful and is used by virtually every entity.

However, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets can grow in complexity to a point where some automation is required. For example, if you regularly print 30 sheets in a workbook you may want to automate that process so that you can do with a single button press. Custom Product User Guides - We can create design, write and publish end user manuals, reference papers, administrator guides and training manuals. Our manuals are written to our tried and tested structure and visual presentation. We can use your visual standards if required. These manuals can be produced into Adobe Acrobat (.pdf).
Online Help - Again, we have years of experience in developing online help and documentation. We can work in a number of help system formats: HTML Help; WebHelp, WebHelp Pro; WinHelp 2000 and WinHelp4. We can also produce Acrobat PDF files. Online documentation requires specialist skills and we can work with your development team to integrate the help system with your application development.
System Documentation - One of the things that usually don't get done or not done properly is system documentation. Some of the system manuals we can generate are formal requirements, user acceptance tests, system design specifications, work flow diagrams, data models and data dictionaries.
Standards - Kalmar Software Development has embraced the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for the last 12 years to improve its quality control. As part of this process it has developed a large number of standards including: technical writing guides, variable naming conventions, coding standards, development environment directory structures, process checklists and many others. Data Conversion Services

Kalmar Software Development is able to provide a full data conversion service to its clients. Converting data between different databases - We can convert from one database model to another. Our expertise in databases in general and specifically data models enables us to successfully convert your data. Be aware that this can often be a complex process.
