Background

Sometimes things don't work out. For many reasons a project can just get off track or stop completely. Kalmar Software Development can help you work out what needs to be done and get the project back on track.

What needs to be done first?

The following steps need to be performed before any decision can be made as to what to do with a project:

  1. Perform a Database Assessment. This will give you the MAD Index which will be important in the next steps.
  2. Perform a gap analysis to determine what is missing from where you are now to where you want to go.
  3. Using the information in MAD Index and gap analysis we can make a set of recommendations as how to proceed and cost estimates.

Database Assessment Report takes about 1 day. The gap analysis takes around 1 to 2 days, depending on the complexity of the project. This initial process will take around 2-3 days. Once you have the recommendations and costs you can make a decision on how to proceed. This also gives you a chance to find out if what we are like and whether or not you want us as a technical partner.
