Often organisation will build an application in-house, or manage the construction in-house, and find that they need someone to create and deliver a training course on the product. This options involves Kalmar Software Development developing a training structure along with your staff. We would also assistance with the formatting of the training material and assist with some of the product - to the point where your own staff can take over and complete the job. The option requires a strong Commitment from in-house staff and if this is secured this can work very well.
One of the options that has worked well with our customers is for us to design and write the training material and their own staff perform the training. This option keeps your costs down. The training material can be written to suite your needs: delivery medium, durations, module breakup and so on.
For example, you could have one or more half-day training modules that are self-contained. These shorter modules make it easier to schedule your staff to attend the courses and information retention is better as staff only need to concentrate for 3-4 hours at a time. It also allows staff to mix and match which modules they attend based on their needs. Sometimes you cannot do that, they just need to do all the modules.
