Converting the Back End data file into SQL Server Express and running as a File Server
Microsoft SQL Server Express is a cut down version of Microsoft's SQL Server that is targeted for embedded and smaller-scale applications. It is completely free. SQL Server Express is still very powerful, it has some limitations but many applications would not come near its limits.
